This year, Amir Kisar, 50, became Boys Town Jerusalem’s Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of Natan Tal. Kisar’s move to the CEO’S office marks the culmination of a journey that began when he first entered Boys Town Jerusalem in the early 1980s.
The son of Yemenite immigrants to Israel, Amir lived and studied at Boys Town Jerusalem from the age of 13. Following his graduation, Amir served in the IDF as a combat soldier and then completed a degree in Accounting and Management going on to qualifying as a tax consultant and accountant. First appointed as the school’s internal auditor, Amir became the financial controller in 2000.
