We were truly grateful to our friend and past supporter Solly Caplan z'l who sadly passed away last year for endowing Boys Town a substantial amount in his Will. Solly was a community man and a true and devout Jew. He served the community that he lived in all of his life. He genuinely cared for, and nurtured the people that came into contact with him and developed friendships that lasted a lifetime. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him, as a result of the numerous deeds of kindness that he showered on his grateful congregation.

In the legacy, he left Boys Town funds to dedicate a Shul on our campus which is used daily by our juniors. Through his final wishes and his generosity his family name will live on in perpetuity in Jerusalem, the eternal capital city of the Jewish people.

We wish his wife Gertrude and family only good health and many simchas in the future.
