A ten-strong choir from Boys Town Jerusalem visited London this week to perform at the Boys Town Jerusalem Fundraising Dinner. For many of the boys, aged between 12 & 15, it was their first trip overseas and it was one that they and those at the dinner will remember for a long time.
“The opportunity for many of our supporters to meet and hear the Boys was really special” said Dinner Chair and Trustee of the charity, Kate Reuben “the atmosphere in room was electric”.
“The boys themselves have taken enormous strength from the tremendous support and love they have received from the Jewish community in Britain during their trip and they will pass this on to their classmates when they arrive back in Jerusalem.” said Ian Kamiel, Executive Development Director of the British Friends. “The £75,000 raised will make a huge difference to the lives of the pupils at the school and to Israel’s future.”
