Lauding the close security and economic cooperation between the UK and Israel, the ambassador highlighted Israel’s expertise in the area of technology. “There’s incredible brain power in Israel, and innovation. I can tell you that on his recent history-making visit to Israel, Prince William especially wanted to see this country’s technological innovations, and he was blown away by what he saw.”
The ambassador told the students. “You’re lucky to be here in this school where such a focus is placed on technology. This is the future! It is a great foundation for you personally and great for Israel.”
“This has been a fascinating visit,” Ambassador Quarrey told his hosts. “I thank you for the opportunity to join you today, Boys Town Jerusalem is a very impressive school, and I’m especially proud of its strong British connection.”
